Energy Perfomance Certificate

An EPC or an energy performance certificate is a document that describes how energy efficient your property is. This document can also give you an average estimate of your energy costs for the upcoming year which will help in making any property, domestic or commercial, more energy-efficient.

What Does the Service Include?

When you book an EPC a qualified energy assessor will visit your property to perform the survey. They will need access to all the rooms in the property to thoroughly examine the critical items such as heating systems, cooling systems, levels of insulation, lighting, the type of materials on the windows and so on. Once the survey is completed, the data collected will be uploaded onto a software program that will calculate the current level of energy efficiency as well as the potential efficiency rating. Then the assessor will send you the energy certificate and the recommendation report which will give you suggestions on how energy efficiency can be improved on the property.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Do I need an EPC?
